LIVESTOCKOS
Join Enter System

Connect your system
to the chain.

Livestock OS is infrastructure. If you have a technology platform, data service, industry body, or government function that belongs in the South African livestock chain, we want to hear from you. Partnership is formal, structured, and based on a defined agreement.

Who We Partner With

Six partnership
categories.

Livestock OS is built to connect with specific types of external systems and organisations. The following categories define what partnership means in each case.

Technology integration
Farm management platforms, abattoir management systems, laboratory LIMS, ERP systems, and other livestock software that needs to write to or read from the Livestock OS chain record. Integration is subject to a data agreement and technical specification.
Auction house onboarding
Auction houses and livestock sale agents who want to link sale events to the animal identity record and trigger ownership transfer workflows. This pathway is currently in the partner onboarding phase.
Laboratory connection
Accredited laboratories that want to submit test results directly to the chain record — linked to batch, carcass, or animal identity. Result format and submission protocol are part of the agreement.
Industry bodies
Breed societies, producer organisations, industry associations, and commodity groups that want their data — studbook IDs, breed standards, performance benchmarks — to be available in the traceability record.
Government & regulatory
State veterinary services, DAFF, DALRRD, and other regulatory bodies with a formal role in the livestock chain. Data sharing and access to chain records is governed by a formal agreement and defined access permissions.
Service provider listing
Feed suppliers, veterinary product distributors, equipment providers, and technical service companies that want to be listed in the Livestock OS industry directory — available to registered operators.
Partnership enquiry
What to expect
All partnership enquiries are reviewed. If your organisation is a good fit, we will schedule a structured conversation to assess the integration, data agreement, and technical requirements. No connection is made without a formal agreement in place.
