Others are built into the architecture and will be released as the system scales. Every module is designed to work as part of the full chain, not in isolation.

Identity Registry

Register individual animals against ear tag and RFID identities. The foundation of every other module — no animal can move through the chain without a registered identity.

Animal Passport

A complete, portable chain record for every animal — from registration through to final result. The animal passport is the primary traceability document generated by Livestock OS.

Herd Management

Manage animal populations at farm or feedlot level. Track herd composition, category breakdown, and batch history across multiple movement events.

Animal Movement

Declare, track, and confirm the movement of batches from origin to destination. Movement cannot proceed without a valid VHC and all required compliance clearances.

Ownership Transfer

Record the change of ownership when animals are sold, auctioned, or transferred. The ownership layer links buyer and seller identity to the animal record at point of transfer.

Health & Veterinary

Issue, sign, and enforce Veterinary Health Certificates. Capture ante-mortem outcomes. Link health events and treatment records to the individual animal identity.

Genetics & Pedigree

Link sire, dam, and offspring identity into a verifiable pedigree record. Connect genetic data from stud breeders and breed societies to the movement and traceability chain.

Verify animal identity at point of sale. Link the sale event to the animal record. Trigger ownership transfer on confirmed transaction. Support auction house onboarding.

Documents & Compliance

Attach, verify, and track all compliance documents linked to a batch — VHCs, permits, lab results, and declarations. Documents are timestamped and linked to the chain record.

Generate compliance reports, traceability summaries, and audit-ready chain records. Reports are generated from live chain data — not from manual inputs or spreadsheets.
